(2017 NaNoWriMo) Captain’s Log, Day 25

I’ve been listening to other people talk about NaNoWriMo this year, and much like me, the enthusiasm for the challenge has waned. Why is that? Are we so overridden by all the negativity in the world today that our creative juices aren’t flowing as well? Sometimes, I think so. And at least for me, it’s a fact. This past year continues to weigh heavily on me and I find it difficult to get wrapped up in my stories sometimes. So this challenge hasn’t been my best attempt at a novel, but I guess at least it has been an attempt.

Lest you think I’m giving up, I’m not. The holiday season is in the beginning stages and I always seem to gather a bit of creative spirit as we head into the deepest part of the season. I’ll do my best to capture what I energy I can, and hope that you will, too.

Together we can turn those frowns upside down.

Happy Writing!
